Tickets are now on sale for the Unlocking Warwick disco evening celebrating the famous year of Swinging Britain 50 years on. ‘1966 and all That!’ at the Jury Street Court House on Saturday 14th May will have music from DJ Stevie, a fish and chip supper (or vegetarian pastie) with a sixties quiz, and there will be a Show-and-Tell board for your photos. What were you or your parents doing in 1966 and what did you look like? Or have you got a picture of Warwick in the mid-sixties?
There will be nine tables of eight people in the ballroom, so numbers are restricted to 72. Tickets cost £19.66 and include the supper and a welcome drink. The bar will be open all evening. Feel free to dress up and be cool.
Get your tickets from the Visitor Information Centre in the Court House (phone 01926 492212) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
7.30pm on May 14th in the restored Court House ballroom. Doors open at 7pm. Don’t be square …. be there.
