2018 Court House Tours Announced

Tours begin in the Pageant Gardens named after the great town pageant in 1906

The Unlocking Warwick volunteers have announced the dates for their popular “Court House Tours” from March to September.

These 45-minute tours around the inside and outside of the Court House in Jury Street tell of the town’s administrative buildings on this site at the central crossroads, before and after the Great Fire of Warwick in 1694, and serve as an introduction to the rich history of the county town.

All the tours will be on Saturdays at 11am on the following dates:

March 31st  –  April 7th  –  May 5th  –  May 26th  –  June 2nd  –  June 16th –  July 7th  –  July 21st  –  August 4th  –  August 18th  –  August 25th  –  September 1st  –  and September 15th during the Heritage Open Days Weekend, with an extra tour at 2pm that day.

The Court House Tours are free to attend, but numbers have to be limited for practical reasons, so it is first come first served. Assemble in the Visitor Information Centre or in the Pageant Gardens behind the building in time for an 11am start. info@unlockingwarwick.org
