25th May – Gardening in the Ballroom!

Tips to make your garden bloom
Tips to make your garden bloom

The next gathering of the informal Court House social club called ‘In the Ballroom’ will be from 2pm to 4.30pm on Thursday 25th May.

This month the guest speaker will be an experienced gardener. So if you want to know about improving the soil in your garden, or when to plant or prune, or how to keep the greenly off your roses, or anything else to do with the national obsession with gardens, then you might get some useful tips.

There will also be tea or coffee and cakes served by Unlocking Warwick volunteers, a quiz about gardens, and there will be plenty of time to chat and make some new friends.

The monthly In the Ballroom afternoons are becoming more and more popular as people get to know them and bring friends along.

We are particularly keen to see local people who might find it difficult to get out and therefore could feel a bit isolated, so if you know of residents who would especially enjoy ‘In the Ballroom’ please bring them along. It costs just £2 per person.

The social group is supported by Warwick Town Council and organised by Unlocking Warwick.
