An Antiques Road Show, 14th August

Auctioneer and valuer Steve Bruce talks about some intriguing antiques

Not Fiona Bruce, but Steve Bruce the auctioneer and antiques expert will be the speaker at the monthly social ‘In The Ballroom’ on Wednesday 14th August. He’ll talk about some of the more interesting items that have passed through his hands, including some curious discoveries, and surprise amounts paid at auction.

If you want to bring along some small items for Steve to examine, he’s happy to do so after the tea has been served, and will try to answer your questions about antiques and memorabilia.

As well as the presentation, there will be tea, coffee and a selection of cake, and time to chat. ‘In The Ballroom’ takes place from 2pm to 4pm at the Jury Street Court House on the second Wednesday of every month and costs just £2.50 per person.

‘In The Ballroom’ is organised by the Unlocking Warwick volunteers on behalf of Warwick Town Council, with support from The Big Lottery ‘Awards for All’ and The King Henry VIII Endowed Trust.
