Ballroom Games Becoming More Popular
The word is clearly getting around that the monthly Board Games in the Ballroom at the Court House is a lovely way to spend an afternoon, especially with tea, coffee and home-made cake provided by the Unlocking Warwick volunteers.
The February session on 27th was well-attended and much enjoyed on a fairly cold and drizzly afternoon. Favoured games were Scrabble, Chinese Chequers and a game called Rummikub which proved particularly popular. Guests clearly enjoyed the friendly competition and conversation in the splendid setting of the Regency ballroom.
Board Games in the Ballroom happens every fourth Tuesday of the month from 2pm to 4pm. It costs just £2 per person, to include the refreshments. So why not come along to the next session on March 26th?
So that the volunteers know how many people will be coming, please reserve your place by popping in to the Visitor Information Centre or phoning them on 01926 492212.
