Bank Holiday Tour 26th May

The next Court House Tour will be on Spring Bank Holiday Saturday, 26th May at 11am. Volunteers Patrick and Paula will be standing by to show visitors and interested residents around the inside and outside of the Jury Street Court House, and will introduce guests to the history of Warwick since its foundation by the Saxons in 914.

Unlocking Warwick’s Court House Tours are free to attend and last about 45 minutes. There’s no need to book, but numbers have to be limited for safety and practical reasons, so it’s a case of first come, first on the tours.  Assemble in the Visitor Information Centre or Pageant Gardens just behind the Court House.

Note that there are no longer any courts in the Court House. It is now the Town Hall with the Visitor Centre, the Yeomanry Museum and a fine Regency ballroom which is used for community events and private functions.

It looks like the weather will be very good for the bank holiday, but if you want to check if the tour is going ahead, call the Visitor Information Centre on 01926 492212.
