Bingo! and a Relaxed Tea
There was a relaxed atmosphere for the first ‘In The Ballroom’ of 2019 on January 10th, with some bingo and a memory-testing quiz.
Gina’s bingo is always popular, warming up with a line of five numbers on your card, then going for the full-card bingo. Helen’s picture quiz this time asked guests if they could remember the details of some of the notable events in 2018.
This monthly social gathering, with a talk or activity, tea and cake, and a quiz has become very popular and will continue throughout 2019. For the rest of the year ‘In The Ballroom’ will be on the second Wednesday of the month, from 2pm to 4pm in the Jury Street Court House. The next edition will be on February 13th, and will feature an illustrated talk about the famous Wallace art collection and it’s local connections.
It costs just £2 to attend ‘In The Ballroom’ including the tea. There’s no need to book. Just turn up.
These monthly socials are organised by Unlocking Warwick and the Town Council with support from the Big Lottery ‘Awards for All’ and the local King Henry VIII Endowed Trust.
