Come Dancing! March 22nd.

Ballroom dancing will return to the Court House on Tuesday 22nd March when we bring back our ‘Tea and Dance Lessons’ in the ballroom.

Organiser Sue Rigby says,”Now that Covid restrictions have been lifted and we can get out for a little gentle exercise and some good company, we are inviting people to come along to the Jury Street Court House from 2pm to 4pm for some professional dance teaching with a break for tea and cake.

The dance tuition will be led by Chris Clark from the Majestic Dance Club. He says, “These enjoyable afternoons are suitable for everyone. If you are new to ballroom dancing, we’ll show you the steps of classic dances such as the waltz, the social foxtrot and the tango.

It’s excellent exercise, keeps you supple and it’s good for your posture and balance. In the interval there will be home-made cake with tea or coffee and time to chat.”

Sue Rigby says, “Our aim is to hold the dance lessons every fourth Tuesday of the month. Numbers are limited so it is important to reserve your places by popping in to the Visitor Information Centre or calling them on 01926 492212. Or you can email enquiries@visitwarwick.co.uk

Thanks to a partnership between Warwick Town Council, Unlocking Warwick and Majestic Dance, the Tea and Dance Lessons cost just £3 per person – cash on the door please.

So shimmy down to the Court House on March 22nd to enjoy a friendly and affordable social afternoon. And perhaps make a note in  your diary – the fourth Tuesday of each month – Tea and Dance Lessons!”
