Court House Tour this Saturday
July 2nd will be the first Saturday of the month, and that means there will be a free tour around the Jury Street Court House, with a volunteer guide telling about the Grade-1 listed building and its place in Warwick’s history.
Who governed Warwick before there was a Corporation? What happened when Henry VIII wanted to seize the assets of the Warwick Guilds? What was Robert Dudley’s cunning plan to get possession of the Guildhall at the Westgate?
The tour will be from 11am – 11.45am. There’s no need to book. Just turn up at the Visitor Information Centre at the central cross roads of Warwick.
