Dance Lessons More and More Popular
On 10th April, the monthly Tea and Dance Lessons in the Ballroom organised by the Town Council and Unlocking Warwick saw eight couples gliding round the floor under the expert tuition of Chris and Barbara from Majestic Dance.
Several were trying ballroom dancing for the first time, and one young woman who was visiting Warwick on a day out from Oxford had seen the sign outside the Court House and joined in with enthusiasm.
The guests all clearly enjoyed learning the basic steps of the waltz and foxtrot. In the interval there was tea and some fine cake, and time for people to chat and get to know each other.
The Tea and Dance Lessons take place in the Jury Street Court House Ballroom on the second Thursday of each month from 2pm to 4pm, and cost just £2.50 per person. No experience is required. You don’t have to bring a partner, you can team up with someone else when you arrive. Just turn up and get into the swing.
The next tea and dance session will be on May 8th.
