Easter Saturday Court House Tour

The weather forecast says it’s going to be warm and sunny on Easter Saturday – perfect for enjoying a Court House Tour with Unlocking Warwick, perhaps before heading for the market, the Smith Street shops or one of Warwick’s many eating-places.

The 45-minute Saturday tour will start at 11am. Visitors will stroll round the inside and the outside of the Grade-1 listed building, while guides tell some of the eleven hundred year history of the county town, and the building of the Court House during of the reconstruction of Warwick following the Great Fire in 1694.

Note that there have been no courts in the building for nearly 50 years. It is the Town Hall, housing the Town Council Chamber, the Visitor Information  Centre, a Regency ballroom on the first floor and the Warwickshire Yeomanry Museum in the former kitchens.

Meet in the Visitor Information Centre where Tricia and Karen will be waiting to conduct the tour. There’s no need to book and the tour is free to attend.
