Excellent Dancing – Excellent Tea

Guests who came to the Court House on 2nd July for the monthly Tea and Dance Lessons in the ballroom were a particularly impressive group who picked up the steps very quickly and moved smoothly round the floor.

‘Excellent’ declared Chris, the professional dance teacher, ‘especially as many were new to ballroom dancing’. The session started with a slow foxtrot, then a slightly quicker version, before the dancers moved on to a waltz and then a quickstep.

The tea, coffee and cake in the interval was enjoyed just as much as the dancing, and there was plenty of time to chat and make new friends.

If you know of someone who would enjoy this social afternoon with some dancing to ballroom classics, please spread the word. The Tea and Dance Lessons in the Jury Street Court House happen on the first Tuesday of each month from 2pm to 4pm.

Organised by the Unlocking Warwick volunteers for the Town Council, they cost just £2.50 including the refreshments, and there’s no need to book. Just turn up and take your partners.
