Foxtrot, Waltz and Jive

Guests who came to the Tea and Dance Lessons in the Court House ballroom on April 2nd threw themselves into the jive with great enthusiasm.

The session began with the more leisurely favourites, the Social Foxtrot and the Waltz. Then dance-master Chris led everyone through a gentle jive – very good for balance and flexibility as well as being great fun.

In the interval it was time for tea, coffee and a selection of cakes, with an opportunity to have a rest and a chat before the dancing resumed.

The Tea and Dance Lessons take place from 2pm to 4pm on the first Tuesday of every month. No experience is needed. The professional dance teachers will lead guests through the steps. The sessions cost just £2.50 per person and there’s no need to book. Just turn up at the Jury Street Court House and take your partners. The next session will be on May 7th.
