Gina at Coronation Civic Service

On the day after the Coronation, There was a Civic Service in the Collegiate Church of St. Mary, followed by a reception in the Old Shire Hall in Warwick.

Volunteer groups had been invited by the Lord Lieutenant, along with civic dignitaries. Gina Tipton represented Unlocking Warwick, the Town Council volunteers.

Gina is a longstanding committee member of Unlocking Warwick, part of the team that organises the monthly socials ‘In The Ballroom’, an occasional actor in courtroom dramas, and in recent years has researched themes for the decoration of our Christmas Tree at the tree Festival in St. Mary’s. She was accompanied by her husband, Denver, who helps to decorate the tree each year.

The service had a strong theme of  work by community groups, reflecting the King’s decision to theme Bank Holiday Monday as ‘The Big Help Out’ = a tribute to volunteering.
