Great Get-together Tea Party June 22nd
This month, the social gathering ‘In the Ballroom’ at the Jury Street Court House will be a special Great Get-together Tea Party, part of a national coming-together to commemorate the murdered MP Jo Cox and to celebrate community spirit in all parts of the country.
It’s on Thursday 22nd June from 2pm – 4.30pm.
There will be the chance to chat to neighbours, make some new friends, enjoy a splendid high tea, and take part in a quiz.
It costs just £2 per person to cover the cost of refreshments. After some discussion, it was decided to hold the tea inside – in the Regency ballroom – rather than outside in the Pageant Garden, because the weather can be so unreliable!
‘In the Ballroom’ is organised each month by Unlocking Warwick volunteers and the Town Council, and is supported by the Big Lottery ‘Awards for All’ and the King Henry VIII Endowment Trust.
We are particularly keen to see Warwick residents who may not be able to get out very often, so if you know of someone who would appreciate coming to the Great Get-together Tea Party, please let them know about it, or bring them along.
The next social gathering will be on July 20th and will be a table-top games afternoon .
