Cancellations because of Weather

Friday March 2nd:  With the high winds, snow and icy conditions continuing into the weekend, there have been some cancellations and postponements in Warwick.

Warwick Castle is closed today.  Pre-booked tickets will be valid.  Check their website to see when the castle will reopen.  www.warwick-castle.com . 

Warwick Market on Saturday 3rd March has been cancelled. And the Warwick Half-Marathon and Family Fun-Run which were scheduled for Sunday 4th March have been postponed because of the very cold weather and ice underfoot.  The event, raising money for the fight against heart disease, will be rescheduled, possibly in early April.  

On a brighter note, Warwickshire County Council has announced that street lighting will stay on all night while the tricky conditions underfoot persist.
