Happy Dancers
The August session of Tea and Dance Lessons in the ballroom was well attended by a particularly cheerful group of dancers.
They were kept on their toes by professional teacher, Chris, who explained the steps of some ballroom classics. The guests clearly had fun, and were more than ready for their tea in the interval, chatting together and enthusiastically polishing off all the cakes.
The monthly Tea and Dance Lessons are an enjoyable get-together with the gentle exercise of ballroom dancing helping to keep you fit, supple and well balanced. You don’t need any previous experience, you don’t need to book and you don’t have to bring a partner. Just turn up and link up with someone else.
So if you know of someone who might particularly enjoy trying a waltz or social foxtrot , please spread the word. Tea and Dance Lessons happen on the first Tuesday of each month from 2pm to 4pm in the Regency ballroom above the Visitor Information Centre in the Jury Street Court House. They cost just £2.50 per person to include the refreshments.
The next session will be on Tuesday September 3rd.
