Highly Commended

Unlocking Warwick’s tree donated to the St. Mary’s Christmas Tree Festival was among those ‘Highly Commended’ by the Mayor and Father Christmas who jointly judged the 50 trees.

Our tree, with decorations devised and created by Gina Tipton, has a royal theme to mark the extraordinary year for the Royal Family. As well as the usual keys suspended by red ribbons, there were pictures of royal visits to Warwickshire.

The two winning trees were provided by the 2nd Warwick Sea Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, and by King’s High School. The Festival will remain open until Sunday 4th December. Adults’ entry is just £2. Trees will then be sold off at £25 each, to be collected on the morning of December 5th. www.stmaryschristmas.org.uk
