‘In the Ballroom’ 2018 dates
The 2018 dates and activities have been announced for the monthly social gathering “In the Ballroom”.
This informal social club held in the Regency ballroom at the Jury Street Court House proved increasingly popular last year and a range of interesting talks and activities have been lined up this year right through to December. Coming up:
March 1st: The Restoration of Guy’s Cliffe Walled Garden. April 5th: Bring your old photos of Warwick and local heroes of WWI. May 3rd: Hidden depths – our Local Canals June 14th: The Warwickshire Yeomanry Museum July 5th: The Boxing Turpins August 2nd: A Crafts and Activities Afternoon September 6th: Cream Tea with a Music Hall theme October 4th: Antiques – fake or fortune? November 1st: St. Mary’s Church and the great Poppy Display December 6th: Christmas Carols
There’s sometimes a quiz related to the subject of the talk, and there’s always plenty of time to chat and make new friends as Unlocking Warwick volunteers serve tea, coffee and cake.
“In the Ballroom” is held from 2pm – 4.30pm and costs just £2 per person. There’s full disabled access in the building. These social gatherings are organised for Warwick residents by Unlocking Warwick on behalf of the Town Council. info@unlockingwarwick.org
