Tickets for the Jane Austen Tea in the Ballroom on 8th October are now on sale in the Warwick Visitor Information Centre in Jury Street, and they are selling quickly. So if you would like to come, get into your barouche and trot down to the Information Centre, or call them on 01926 492212.

The Regency style afternoon tea is being organised by Unlocking Warwick for the Warwick Words History Festival. It will include demonstrations of popular Regency dances by some of the Jane Austen Dancers from Bath, songs from the period, and presentations about Jane’s local connections and the importance of the society balls in her novels.

Unlocking Warwick volunteers will serve an authentic tea of crumpets and madeira cake. 

The Jane Austen Tea, marking the author’s bicentenary, will be in the Court House Regency Ballroom in Jury Street, Warwick, from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday October 8th. Tickets cost £15.
