Memorial Musical Tea – Tickets Now on Sale
Tickets are now on sale for Unlocking Warwick’s Memorial Musical Tea on Sunday October 10th – the final day of the Warwick Words History Festival.
In the elegant Regency ballroom in the Jury Street Court House, the celebration tea will mark the centenary of the nearby war memorial with the music of the peacetime booms of the twenties and fifties.
Unveiled before a huge crowd in 1921, the memorial was updated for WWII in 1951, and again in 2021 after our research found some missing names. There will be entertainment by the fabulous vintage singing trio, ‘My Favourite Things’ with the tea served in the interval by the Unlocking Warwick volunteers.
