The Unlocking Warwick volunteers would like to wish all their supporters and those who have attended our community events in the Jury Street Court House, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

On January 29th the volunteers will be meeting to plan events for 2018

After a very busy 2017, we are looking forward to more community events in the Court House ballroom in 2018. The monthly social club called ‘In the Ballroom’, with a talk or activity and tea/coffee will happen from 2pm on the first Thursday of every month. And there will be Tea and Dance Lessons at 2pm on the second Tuesday of each month.

Starting at the Easter weekend, volunteers will be conducting free ‘Court House Tours’ on selected Saturdays, using the story of the Court House/Town Hall in Jury Street to talk about the development of Warwick over 1100 years. And there are plans taking shape for an innovative project connected with Warwick’s role in World War I, 100 years on from the 1918 armistice.

The unlocking Warwick volunteers will be meeting on 29th January at 7pm in the Court House to plan 2018 activities. If you would like to come along to find out more about the Town Council’s volunteer group, email Secretary Rick Thompson at info@unlockingwarwick.org
