Old Warwick Stories, 13th March
The March edition of the monthly social ‘In The Ballroom’ coming up on Wednesday 13th will feature an illustrated talk about Warwick by local historian Trevor Langley.
Intriguingly, the title of his talk is, “If Walls Could Talk – the walls tell the stories from Warwick’s past; the good, the sad and the strange!”
This popular social gathering includes tea, coffee and cake provided by the Unlocking Warwick volunteers, and a quiz to keep you on your toes. It costs just £2 per person, including the tea, and there’s plenty of time to chat and make friends.
Trevor has a wealth of knowledge about the history of the county town and is an excellent speaker, so it’s sure to be an entertaining afternoon ‘In the Ballroom’. There’s no need to book. Just turn up at the Court House in Jury Street for a 2pm start.
