Racing Cancelled

Our What’s On in Warwick shows the Gentlemen’s Raceday at the racecourse on Saturday 9th February. But as you might have seen in the media, the meeting has been cancelled.

Here’s the official statement: “The British Horseracing Authority has announced that no racing will take place in Britain until Wednesday 13^th February as a precautionary measure following the suspected identification of equine influenza at a racing yard. Therefore the race meeting scheduled at Warwick on Saturday 9th February (Gentlemen’s Day featuring the Agetur Kingmaker Chase) will now be cancelled. Rest assured everyone who has purchased tickets in advance will be issued with a refund automatically.”

Let’s hope the next Warwick meeting on 22nd February will be able to go ahead.
