Remembrance Parade – Pictures
There was a very large turnout for this year’s Remembrance Parade on Sunday 13th November. Following a service in St. Mary’s, there was a short outdoor service at the War Memorial, where the Last Post was sounded, a two-minutes’ silence was observed, and civic dignitaries, officers of the services and community leaders laid wreaths.
Local military units, scouts, guides, cubs, beavers and brownies then marched through the town. Here are a few pictures of the event.
