Strictly Court House
The monthly Tea and Dance Lessons in the Court House ballroom are getting more popular. Could it be the Strictly Come Dancing effect?
The last session on November 13th was well attended with a few first-time dancers, and the session was clearly enjoyed by all. These afternoons offer coaching by professional dance teachers who guide guests through the steps of ballroom classics such as the foxtrot, waltz and the tango. There’s tea, coffee, cake and biscuits in the interval with plenty of time to chat.
No experience is required, and you don’t even need to bring a partner. Just link up with someone else and take to the floor. It’s good exercise, helping balance and flexibility. Here are some pictures of the last session:
The next Tea and Dance Lessons on the Court House ballroom will be from 2pm to 4pm on Tuesday 11th December. It costs just £2.50 to attend. There’s no need to book. Just turn up.
Unlocking Warwick and the Town Council will continue to offer these dance sessions in 2019. The January Tea and Dance will be on Tuesday January 8th. After that, they will be on The First Tuesday of each month.
