Summer Social 8th July
The weather was perfect on Saturday July 6th for Unlocking Warwick’s Summer Social, an informal get-together with some of the town councillors, staff from the Visitor Information Centre, and other supporters of Unlocking Warwick.
It was held in the secluded garden of the Unitarian Chapel in the High Street, a beautiful venue with a well-equipped kitchen. The chapel and garden are available for hire for private functions.
When the volunteers are busy staging events in the Court House ballroom, conducting Court House Tours, or helping with the ‘In the Ballroom’ monthly talks and the Council’s Tea Dances, there is little chance to talk informally.
So the Summer Social was an opportunity to get to know each other better and share stories of life in Warwick.
If you would like to join the Unlocking Warwick volunteers, just send your details to info@unlockingwarwick.org and our Secretary Rick Thompson will be in touch.
You will be made very welcome and you can do as much or as little as you like!
