The Visitor Information Centre in the Jury Street Court House is normally closed on Sundays in the winter period, when there are very few visitors in town and the weather can be foul with icy pavements and snow.
But this January has seen more visitors in town. So Liz Healey and her team have decided to open the Information Centre on the next two Sundays – February 16th and 23rd. They will decide whether to keep seven-day opening for the rest of the winter period depending on the number of Sunday visitors who come in.
There are free maps of the town highlighting the main visitor attractions, souvenirs, and plenty of information about local events, transport and places to stay. The Box Office sells discounted tickets to the Castle and tickets for local events and there’s a small display about the history of Warwick.
