Tea Dance 12th December
The last Tea Dance of the year will take place in the ballroom of the Jury Street Court House on Tuesday 12th December from 2pm to 4pm.
It’s a chance to meet new people, keep the muscles in good shape and enjoy dancing to some lovely ballroom music and classic songs.
Professional dance teachers show everyone the moves, so no experience is necessary. And there’s tea or coffee, some lovely cake and time to chat in the interval.
Warwick Town Council has decided to continue the dances in 2018, under the name “Tea and Dance Lessons’, which is better description of what actually happens. The sessions, which are organised by Warwick Town Councillors with the help of Unlocking Warwick volunteers, are held each month on a Tuesday afternoon, and cost only £2.50 per person. There’s no need to book. Just turn up on the day.
In the new year, the first Tea and Dance Lesson in the Ballroom will be on 9th January. For further details contact the Town Council office on 01926 411694 or call into the Visitor Information Centre.
