The first Court House Tour 6th April
Unlocking Warwick’s first free Court House Tour of the year will be on Saturday 6th April, marking English Tourism Week in Warwick.
Aimed at visitors to Warwick and local people who would like to know more about the history of the Court House and the development of the town since Saxon times, these tours on selected Saturdays are clearly enjoyed by those who come along.
In past years guests have included visitors from France, Germany, Spain, the USA, Japan and Australia. The Court House Tours start from the Visitor Information Centre at 11am. There’s no need to book. Just turn up on time to have a look around the Grade 1 listed building, built in the early 18th Century during the reconstruction of Warwick following The Great Fire of 1694.
