Warwick’s Get Together Tea
Warwick celebrated community spirit on June 22nd with a special Get Together Cream Tea in the Court House ballroom, part of a national celebration of tolerance and unity in memory of the murdered MP Jo Cox.
Unlocking Warwick volunteers served guests with plates of cake, scones and cream, and Town and County Councillor John Holland spoke about Jo Cox’s outstanding dedication to representing all her constituents, and the importance of communities uniting in friendship and tolerance.
Then there was a quiz about notable women in history, and time for guests to chat, share memories, and get to know each other.
The next chance for local people to get together in the monthly social “In the Ballroom” will be on 20th July at 2.30pm, when there will be table top games!
