What’s On in Warwick September Update

Unlocking Warwick’s long-term calendar of local events, What’s On in Warwick at a Glance has just been updated from September until the end of the year. You can find it on this website under the Events tab.

The What’s On is also available on the Visitor Warwick site of the Town Council’s Visitor Information Centre. It gets several thousand page-views every month, so clearly there are plenty of people wanting to know about events coming up and how to get tickets for performances, concerts and plays.

In the coming months there are a host of events marking the centenary of the Armistice that ended the fighting in the First World War on November 11th 1918. Unlocking Warwick will be staging an Armistice Afternoon Tea in the Court House ballroom on October 7th as part of the Warwick Words History Festival. And on October 13th there will be a Warwick WWI Walk from the Court House to St. Mary’s via the War Memorial, with personal stories of some of those killed in the conflict, and a chance to view the spectacular display of hand-made poppies in the church.

Tickets for both events are available at the newly organised Walk-In Box Office at the Visitor Information Centre in the Jury Street Court House.

If you are organising a public event in Warwick, please send details well in advance to whatson@unlockingwarwick.org  The list of events can be updated only each month.
