Who were The Puckerings?

There is a Puckering’s Lane next to the bus station in Warwick. But who were the Puckerings and why were they important to Warwick? What is their connection with The Priory that stood on the high ground overlooking the town?

Find out on Wednesday 11th May at this month’s social gathering, ‘In The Ballroom’, when Trevor Langley will reveal all – from 2pm in the Jury Street Court House. There will be the usual tea and cake, a quiz and time to chat.

To avoid overcrowding in the ballroom, it is essential to reserve you place in advance by popping in to the Visitor Information Centre, or phoning them on 01026 492212. Or you can email enquiries@visitwarwick.co.uk
