Heritage Open Days

The free tours of the Jury Street Court House during the two Heritage Open Days weekends were so popular that volunteers conducted two tours each Saturday.

A total of 64 people enjoyed hearing about the 300 year history of the Court House, (the Town Hall and former Magistrates Court), and took the chance to view the Timeline and display marking the building’s tercentenary. The display in the Visitor Centre will be available to view at any time during the coming weeks.

And on Sunday October 5th at 2pm, Unlocking Warwick will be presenting the 300-year story of the Court House for the Warwick Words History Festival. There will be interviews with some notable figures and a chance to see the two town maces.

Tickets are still available at the Warwick and Leamington Visitor Centre or online here https://www.warwickwords.co.uk/index.php/all-events-2025/139-sunday-5-october-2025/512-unlocking-warwick
