‘A Super Afternoon’

Guests who took part in the Great Ballroom Quiz – something a little different for the October edition of our regular talk with tea and cake – clearly enjoyed the 90 brainteasers very much.

‘A super afternoon. Let’s do it again sometime’. ‘Thoroughly enjoyable!’ Seven teams competed in five rounds of questions – Helen’s Autumn Quiz, Name that Picture and the Artist, Edwina’s Fiendish British Isles Questions, Name the TV theme Tunes, and What was that Film? 

The winning team, calling themselves The Wombles, scored an impressive 78 out of 90.

The next session of ‘In The Ballroom’ will be on November 11th at 2pm, and to mark Armistice Day, the curators of the Warwickshire Yeomanry Museum and the Fusilier Museum will give presentations about Remembrance and the local regiments.
