Christmas Display from the Garden

The November edition of our monthly social tea called ‘In The Ballroom’, Bev Cox gave a super presentation  of how to make Christmas decorations from the plants in your garden or the hedgerows.

She showed how to make displays for the centre of your Christmas table, or tall floor displays in large containers, or home-made wreaths for the door – and all for little or no cost.

At the final ‘In The Ballroom’ of 2025 on December 10th, guests are invited to bring in their memories of Christmases past, such as old photos, or items that bring back memories. Trevor Langley will project them on to a screen, and lead some singing of traditional Christmas songs and carols in ‘A Nostalgic Christmas’.

These monthly gatherings are popular, so check with the Visitor Information Centre to make sure you are registered. 01926 492212. They cost just £3 per person to include the tea/coffee and selection of cakes.
