Ready for the Christmas Tree Festival

Unlocking Warwick’s tree at St. Mary’s Church is all ready for the Christmas Tree Festival that opens at 5pm on Victorian Evening (Nov 28th) and runs until December 8th, with a host of events including choirs, brass bands, a pop-up cafe and visits by the Mayor and Father Christmas.

Our tree is decorated with pictures of notable figures from Warwick’s past. It can be found on the steps to the chancel, (tree number 16).

We’ll hope lots of visitors vote for our tree as the most appropriate and interesting contribution to the festival. It will look even better with its lights illuminated on the opening evening.  Thanks to Gina and Barbara for decorating it so effectively.

The church will be open for visitors 10am – 4pm Mon-Sat, and 12.30pm – 4pm on Sunday. £1 per adult; children free. For details of the various festival events, pick up a leaflet at the church gift shop or view it here:  www.stmaryswarwick.org.uk/images/uploads/Christmas_Tree_Festival_Leaflet_2019.pdf
